Sausage & Gnocchi Soup

It's time to take your soup game to the next level and this Sausage and Gnocci Soup is just the way to do it. Don't let that gnocci intimidate you, this recipe is easy to make and will leave you looking like a pro. Our Johnsonville Country Style Honey Garlic Flavoured Sausages add some savoury sweetness to round out the garlic and onion. Go ahead and show off to your guests!

What You Need

  • 1 pkg JOHNSONVILLE Mild Italian Style Sausages, decased
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 pkg (16 oz) potato gnocchi
  • 3 cups packed fresh spinach, coarsely chopped
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream


  1. Cook sausage over medium heat in a large pot or Dutch Oven for approximately 7-10 minutes or until sausage is cooked through.

  2. Add onion and garlic, and cook for 2-3 minutes or until onions are tender.

  3. Add chicken broth, salt and pepper, and bring to boil. Stir in gnocci and spinach. Cook for another 2-3 minutes or until gnocci begins to float.

  4. Add in whipping cream and serve.
