Sausage Enchiladas

For easy, excellent enchiladas, look no further than Johnsonville. This simple recipe has all the flavours you love with a special kick from Johnsonville Hot Italian Sausage Meat.

What You Need

  • 1 pkg Johnsonville┬« Hot Italian Sausage Meat
  • 1/2 cup red onion, chopped
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 jar enchilada sauce
  • 1 jar tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 6 large flour tortillas
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. Add sausage, onions and salt and pepper to skillet. Cook for 7-9 mins until sausage is cooked through.

  2. Drain excess grease from pan. 

  3. Add 2/3 cup of cheese to sausage mixture.

  4. In a medium bowl, combine enchilada sauce, tomato sauce, garlic and chili powder.

  5. Fill flour tortillas with sausage mixture. Roll and place in pan. 

  6. Cover with enchilada sauce mix and remaining cheese. 

  7. Bake at 350°F for 30-35 minutes. Serve while hot.
