Italian Sausage, Onions & Peppers

What You Need

(17.64 ounces/500 g) Johnsonville® Mild Italian Sausage links, decased

medium green pepper, thinly sliced

medium red pepper, thinly sliced

medium onion, thinly sliced

garlic cloves, minced

1 Tbsp.
olive oil

1 can
(14.5 ounces/429 mL) diced tomatoes with basil, garlic and oregano

1/4 tsp.
red pepper flakes

Hoagie or sub rolls, optional
Preparation

Cut each sausage into 4-5 pieces.

In a large skillet, sauté the sausage, peppers, onion and garlic in oil until vegetables are tender, about 10 minutes.

Add tomatoes and pepper flakes. Cook and stir for 5 minutes or until heated through.

Serve on rolls if desired.
