Bring a little excitement to your bbq party with our Chilli Cheese Quesadilla! Made with Johnsonville Smoked Chilli Cheese Sausages, this recipe has all your favourite flavours, like peppers, green onions and cilantro, plus extra cheese and chilli spice from our smoked sausage. Best of all this dish comes together in a flash, so you can tackle a busy weeknight dinner or big neighbourhood barbecue!
Cook sausage according to package directions and cut into 1/4" medallions. Heat barbecue to medium-high heat for quesadillas.
Lay out 3 tortillas and sprinkle each with sausage, red pepper, green onion and cheese. Top each with another tortilla.
Lightly grease barbecue grates and place tortillas on the grill. Cook until both sides are lightly browned and crispy, approximately 3-4 minutes.
Remove from grill and cut into quarters. Garnish with cilantro and serve with sour cream and salsa (if desired).
