Sausage Hash Grill Packet

What You Need

  • 1 pkg (375 g) Johnsonville Smoked Polish Sausages, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 6 tsps Cooking oil or non-stick cooking spray
  • 1/2 head cabbage, cut into 1/2 inch wedges
  • 20 small potatoes, quartered
  • 1 small red onion, sliced
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 8 tbsps garlic butter, homemade or store bought
  • 1 bunch parsley, chopped fine
  • aluminum foil
  • Sour cream (to preference)

Preparation

  1. Preheat grill to 400F. Cut four 18x12 inch sheets of foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray (or line with 1-2 tspns of cooking oil).

  2. Divide cabbage, potatoes and onion over foil sheets and add 1 ice cube to each mound.

  3. Evenly divide the sausage between packets and top with 2 tbsps of garlic butter.

  4. Close each packet, securing seams tightly, and place on grill.

  5. Cook on grill for approximately 50 minutes, flipping every 15-20 minutes.

  6. Remove from grill and let rest for approximately 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley and serve with sour cream, if desired.
